A product designer’s hustle is commonly recognised as being able to deliver big releases or launch features that hopefully bring in revenue for the business. However, being able to spot and grab opportunities to conduct quick validation tests is also an important strategic skill.

Ninja Van: Ninja Biz App

I led the design efforts for building and launching Ninja Biz App under Ninja Van’s Commercial vertical that spanned across 4-6 months. It is an extension of the web version of Ninja Dashboard, that aims to capture long tail shipper segments in the 6 SEA countries. This mobile version that allows shippers to create and manage their shipping orders on the go. It involved complex redesigning of key shipping flows into mobile-friendly designs, and cross-vertical coordination with other cross-functional teams.

Writing Design Specifications like a Pro

Most designers already practice design specifications writing, but few do it effectively. Thus, I created and implemented a scalable framework on the why, when, how and what's of design specifications. This trained designers on thinking critically about how to improve the design handover process in a product development life cycle.
